Every morning when I wake up I imagine the waking up physically being a metaphor for awakening spiritually. We go from one reality into another reality without having to actively do anything. We go from a reality of dreams to a waking state reality, which is already present even before we wake up. We only become aware of it.

In the same way the Infinite Presence is already there, even if we are not fully aware of It. It is not created. It is. We simply become aware of our intimate connection with all of Life. We get to know and experience our Unity with all things.

It is the power of consciousness that allows us to go beyond the ordinary confines of our ego mind and become aware of the Infinite and our connection to It and our inter-beingness with It.

Because we are created in the image and likeness of the Divine, because the kingdom of God is given to us already, because we have the innate power of becoming conscious, we are the creation, the creator and the creature all at the same time. There is no separation. You are It! We are It!

Through our inner work of prayer, meditation, study, visioning and service we prepare ourselves for the energetic shift of waking up to occur within us. We then not only experience this energy as the energy that creates and sustains all the different shapes and forms of the Universe, we also get to know that this energy is consciousness itself. It has the power to birth all forms, to know all forms, to inhabit all forms and to transcend all forms.

You are divine, because God created Itself as you. Awaken to the beauty that is already there. Awaken to the real you!

Today I wake up to my greatest yet to be! I embrace, love and nurture myself and I see myself as God sees me: I am pure Love!
