New Horizons
Moonlight floods the whole sky from horizon to horizon; How much it can fill your room depends on its windows.
~Rumi
Looking out over the ocean and gazing at the horizon is a wonderful meditative practice. Contemplating the line where heaven and earth meet can become the starting point of a powerful journey; and in that moment when the horizon line blurs, when this boundary fades into the invisible, when the two dancers called human and divine become one, we get to venture into a mystical realm and are able to allow ourselves to explore spaces and places we did not even know existed within us.
Knowing that God is there already is powerful. Feeling in the core of our beingness that God is expressing Itself in, as and though us, a mystical revelation.
What if these borders, those boundaries and obstacles we perceive in our day-to-day lives would not even exist in the first place? Let us observe more deeply the horizon line we clearly saw when we looked out over the ocean. The higher up above our vantage point we travel, the further this line recedes and our horizon truly expands. If we journey higher into the stratosphere that line opens up into space itself before we notice that there was never a line, but solely the circumference of our own planet. From this place of an expanded viewpoint our human beingness is one with all that there is and we become a wonderful form of God expressing Itself. Our humanness is one with the divine!
How does the knowing that God is right here and right now affect our viewpoint of the perceived dividing lines in our daily lives? How does the knowing that God is expressing itself as me, as you, change the issues we have so many opinions about? Let us travel into our spiritual stratosphere and take a closer look. What do you see?
Affirmation:
I am a true divine emanation of the most high, God. My spiritual stratosphere is fully active and activated. Dividing lines become bridges and deserts turn into fertile ground.
