While you read today's Inner Visions, I invite you to bring into your awareness a piece of music that uplifts you and makes your soul fly high.

Imagine for a moment how the composer of this piece wrote the score. How he or she wove the wonderful tapestry of different musical vibrations to create that intricate special tone you resonate with. How the musicians engage in a play that creates rhythm, balance and harmony even if this is emphasized through disharmonious vibrations from time to time. Right now your inner ear might be fully activated as you allow the joyous vibration of music to bathe your being. As the great conductor, the maestro, of your life you can bring this joy into your day- to-day experience!

For a moment, envision individual musicians practicing their part before your favorite piece was ever heard for the first time. Some instruments may play the lead, and then have to pause for many bars, while others practice their accompaniment never to be heard in the foreground. Their ego might shout out: “I am not good at playing this!” or “Why is my part not bigger?” or “Why am I not getting the lead?” Yet after exploring the formerly uncharted territory of a new song, there is the glimpse for all the musicians, an aha-moment, of all that which was practiced making vibrational sense. Our own lives are a mirror of that and we discover that the song we create together is so much more than the sum of our individual voices.

And then there comes the awareness that without our own voice, which we give to the song of Life in our own, unique way, the composition would be incomplete. God's perfection is taking place right where you are.
